Ori and the Blind Forest
Ori had me captivated during the entirety of its gameplay, and I was very excited to take a whack at a redesign for it. I wanted to utilize the OP-1 as much as possible to create a whimsically melodic soundscape.
Some key aspects of my redesign:
Each time Ori deals a cluster of flare attacks, the pitch of each flare ascends.
While the orb is held by Ori, a calming chordal undertone represents the safety that the orb provides. When dropped, the undertone slowly fades away.
The enemy squelches are created from a combination of cat growls and lemon slice squeezes.
Tools used:
Teenage Engineering OP-1, Raw Foley Recordings, Krotos Reformer, Third Party Source Material
